Aunt of
W.P. 'Bill' Richardson
Georgina was the fourth child and
first daughter of William Pallister Richardson and his
wife Esther (nee Howey).
She was born on the 30th of July 1899 at the family home
in Railway Terrace, Usworth and named for her maternal
Grandmother, Georgiana Howey (nee Turnbull)
After the sadness over their first three children dying
very soon after birth, William and Esther must have been
distraught when Georgina too was born prematurely and
died when she was just 20 hours old.
Georgina's death was registered by her father on the
31st of July 1899, she was buried at Holy Trinity,
Usworth on the 1st of August 1899 her burial was
recorded in the parish register and was carried out by
C.H. Fleetwood, the Vicar for Eighton Banks. |
