'Bill' Richardson
Margaret was the second child of John Richardson (a
brickmaker) and his wife Mary (nee Robinson). She was
born in 1833 at Biddick in Washington , County Durham
and was baptised at the parish church in Washington on
the 1st of September 1833 by the Rector, Henry Percival.
The family moved to South Shields sometime between
Margaret's birth and 1835 and in 1838 they were living
in Brunswick Street, South Shields.
It was there that Margaret died, aged only five. She was
buried on the 13th of March 1838 and the service was
carried out by Thomas Dixon, the incumbent of Holy
Trinity Church.
