William was born
on 13th July 1907, his parents were Ralph
Middleton and his wife Annie (nee Richardson). His birth
was registered in the Chester le St. Registration
District and he was named for his maternal Great
Grandfather, William Pallister. He was
baptised on 7th August 1907 and his baptism was recorded
on the Primitive Methodist Register for Jarrow Circuit.
The record shows that the family lived at 6 Manor View,
New Washington, Usworth Parish and William's Dad was a
bricklayer. In 1909
when William was 2, his father died.
William was recorded on the census of 1911, the family
were living at 6 Manor View, New Washington. His Mam was
listed as a 35 year old widow. She had a confectionery
shop. William was 3, his sister Annie was 7 and his
brother Robert was 13. William died in
1926, he was eighteen years old and his death was
registered in the Chester le St. Registration District. |
