Mary E was born on
the 13th June 1916, she was the daughter of James
Gilliland and his wife Catherine (nee Gray).
In the second quarter of 1940, she
married Albert Whitfield Myers, their marriage was
registered in the Durham Central Registration District.
Mary was 24 and Albert was 28.
In the first quarter of 1945, they had
their only child, Roger.
Roger, Mary's son, says that his mother
was a teacher and she became the Head Teacher of Ouston
Infants School.
Mary's husband Albert, died in May 1996,
he was 83 years old.
Mary died in November 2003, she was 87
years old. Her death was registered in the Durham
Central Registration District. |
