I do not yet have much information about William, its taken over 2 years to even discover his first name!

The only solid piece of evidence I have so far is the marriage certificate of his daughter, Eliza, to David Gilliland in 1861. That says that her father was William McCollough and that by the time of 22nd Jun 1861, he was deceased.
