                        Son of  W.P. 'Bill'
Richardson's Great Uncle, John Robinson Richardson
                          John was born
in the first quarter of 1911, his parents were John
Robinson Richardson and his wife Elizabeth Ann (nee
Mullier). According to the census of 1911 he was born in
Usworth, which means his birth would have been
registered in the Chester le Street Registration
District. There are no less than three John Richardsons
registered in quarter one 1911 in Chester le Street so
its difficult to pin down which one may be 'this' John ! The census of 1911
recorded him at just 3 months old, with his parents at 3
Elliott Terrace, New Washington, Co. Durham. His Dad was
28 and he was a Colliery Horsekeeper, his Mam was 27.
The census form states that John was their third child
and that, sadly, the first two children had died. He
must have been extra precious to his parents.
In 1915, John's parents presented him with a brother,
Alan, followed by a sister, Elsie, in  1918.
In the first quarter of 1937, John married Margaret S
Bowman. Their marriage was registered in the Oxford
                        Registration District.
I do not yet know when John died. |
