John Howey
Joseph Bell Howey
was born on 27th July 1877. His parents were
John Howey and his wife Eleanor (nee Bell) and his birth
was registered in the Tynemouth Registration District.
He was baptised at Christ Church, Tynemouth on 12th
August 1877. The record in the parish register shows
that the family lived at Belford Street and that
Joseph's Dad was a labourer.
He was recorded, aged 3, on the census of 1881 with his
family at West Percy St., Tynemouth. His dad, John was
38 and worked as a labourer, his Mam, Eleanor was 39.
Joseph had a brother, John George, who was 2. He also
had four sisters: Annie Mary (10), Esther (7) Sarah Jane
(5) and Louisa (11 months) Joseph died in
1884, he was just 6 years old. His death was registered
in the Tynemouth Registration District. |
