Daughter 
                        of  W.P. 'Bill' Richardson's Great Great Uncle, 
                        John Howey
                          Louisa Eleanor was 
                        the seventh child of John Howey and his wife Eleanor (nee 
                        Bell). She was born on 25th April 1880 and 
                        her birth was registered in the Tynemouth Registration 
                        District. Louisa was baptised at Christ 
                        Church, Tynemouth, the record in the parish register 
                        says she was baptised privately on May 16th and received 
                        into the church on 6th June. The family lived at 11 
                        Percy Street and Louisa's Dad was a labourer. When the census of 1881 was 
                        taken , Louisa was 11 months old. She was recorded with 
                        her family at West Percy St., Tynemouth. Her Dad was 38 
                        and worked as a labourer, her Mam was 39. Louisa had 
                        three sisters: Annie Mary (10), Esther (7) and Sarah 
                        Jane (5) and two brothers: Joseph (3) and John George 
                        (2). Sadly Louisa's brother, Joseph, died 
                        in 1884, aged 6. By the time of the 1891 
                        census, Louisa was 10. The family lived at Bedford St., 
                        Tynemouth. Her Dad, James (48) worked as a furnaceman, 
                        her Mam, Eleanor was 49. The other children in the house 
                        were Esther (17), Sarah (15) and John (12). 
                        The 1901 census recorded Louisa as age 21, living at 
                        South Preston Terrace where she worked as as domestic 
                        servant for a lady called Sarah Harrison. 
                        On the 1911 census, Louisa was recorded living and 
                        working in Blackburn, Lancashire. She was 30 and working 
                        as a domestic servant for a family called Haworth. Mr 
                        Haworth was a machinery exporter and there was also his 
                        wife and three grown up children in the house. 
                        Louisa died in the third quarter of 1973, she was 93 
                        years old and her death was registered in the Harrow 
                        Registration District.    |
