John Howey
William was
born on 24th February 1882. He was the son of John
Howey and his wife Eleanor (nee Bell) and his birth was
registered in the Tynemouth Registration District and
was given the middle name of Watson which was his
paternal Grandmother's maiden name. He
was baptised at Christ Church, Tynemouth on 26th March
1882. The entry in the baptism register shows
that the family lived at 11 W. Percy Street and that
William's
Dad worked as a labourer. Sadly
William did not live long and his death was registered in
the June quarter of 1882. |
