'Bill' Richardson
Robert Turnbull was the seventh child of George and Isabella Turnbull. According to his baptism record, he was born on 25th April 1847 and was baptised on 14th May in the parish church in Rothbury. The family were living at Snitter Mill where his father worked as a miller.
Sadly, he was to have a very short life. He died on 10th January 1848 and was buried two days later at Whittingham. On the death certificate the cause of death is stated as 'unknown'. At the time, the family were living at Red Chirnells which very close to Snitter Mill.
