Great Great Aunt of  W.P. 'Bill' Richardson

Isabella was the eighth child of George Turnbull and his wife Isabella (nee Green).  According to her baptism record, she was born on 7th November 1848 and was baptised on 14th January 1849 in the parish church in Rothbury. The family were living at Snitter Mill where her father worked as a miller.

Her birth was registered in the Rothbury registration district in the last quarter of 1848.

On the 1851 census, she was listed in the family home at Waterside House, Guyzance aged 2 with her parents, three sisters and two brothers. Her paternal grandfather, Jacob Turnbull also lived with them.

By the time of the 1861 census the family had moved to Shawdon Woodhouse, but Isabella was not recorded there. She and her sister Georgiana were recorded at Guyzance, visiting their brother Jacob who was recorded as a lodger in the house of William Gray and his wife Eleanor (nee Turnbull).  Eleanor was the oldest daughter of George and Isabella.

I haven't yet found Isabella after the 1861 census.
